Who we are

What Patrik Thinks ("we") runs the website whatpatrikthink.com. Contact: support@whatpatrikthink.com.

What we collect

Your email address, used to sign you in and to send you your reports and service emails.

The chats you upload, any notes you add, and the reports we generate for you.

Purchase records (what you bought, when, the amount and country). Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record; we never see your card details.

Basic technical and usage data needed to run, secure and improve the service (for example, which step of the upload you reached).

How a chat is processed

Your export is first read and counted inside your browser. We then upload a compact, encrypted copy of the messages so Patrik can write your report.

The messages are sent to our AI provider only to generate the reports you ask for. Under our agreements the provider may not use them to train models.

We do not sell, rent or share your chats or reports with anyone, and nobody in the chat is notified.

How long we keep it

Uploaded chats that never become a report: deleted within 48 hours.

Uploaded chats with a report: deleted 7 days after your most recent report on that chat. A new report restarts the 7 days.

Reports: kept until you delete them or your account.

Account data: kept while your account exists. Purchase records: kept as long as tax law requires.

Security and error logs: up to 90 days.

Sharing reports

Each report has a private, unguessable link. Anyone you give the link to can read it. You can delete a report at any time, which disables the link.

Service providers

Vercel Inc. (hosting and AI gateway), Anthropic PBC (AI model, accessed through Vercel), Supabase Inc. (database, sign-in and encrypted storage). Paddle.com Market Ltd (payments, merchant of record) and Resend Inc. (email delivery). Some providers process data outside your country under standard contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You can access, export or delete your data at any time from 'My chats', or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Israeli Privacy Protection Law) you may also object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data-protection authority.

Other people in your chat

Chats include messages written by other people. Only upload chats you are part of, for your personal use, and delete them when you no longer need them. If you are in a chat someone else uploaded and want it removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Children

The service is only for people aged 18 and over.

We will update this page when our practices change and note the date below.
